The Internet is full of pages and opinions on stealth camping. Much of it is wrong, inaccurate and a misrepresentation.

Allan Stokell has been stealth camping for more than a decade. Let him show you how to legally, safely and comfortably camp on unsigned, unfenced and unimproved land overnight.

This technique greatly improves packpackers and touring cyclists enjoyment and comfort level when travelling.

You’ll enjoy 5 Star Stealth Camping so much, you won’t want to camp any other way!

IN MAY, 2012

I’m always amazed about how many people have a negative view of doing something perfectly legal. I’m always being told that stealth camping is trespassing, immoral, illegal, dangerous and just plain stupid.

I’ll tell you what is stupid: Being stuck in a tiny tent in a campground surrounded by recreational vehicles with their generators running to keep the air conditioning on and the freezer working. I don’t think that is camping and I don’t want to be in a campground ghetto with them.

Cycling off your course up a hill into a headwind for 12 kilometres to find one of these inconvenient campsites is something else I think is stupid, especially when there are lots of places to camp along the way.

Now some people have what I call a Norman Rockwell view of life. Norman Rockwell was an American artist famous for his paintings of a sympathetic American lifestyle of cozy fires, friendly police officers and pretty towns. I don’t believe that ever existed. If you are one of those people who think you can have a good nights sleep by getting approval to camp in a backyard, church, park or cemetery, I invite you to do that.

My reality is that I am touring on my bike (you might be on foot) and it is getting dark. I am miles from any form of civilization and I need a place to stay for the night. This place has to be out of sight, safe and comfortable. It also has to be nearby

In my pdf* format book and DVD I offer practical advice on everything from site selection, how to avoid trespassing, equipment you will need, set up tips, and even what to do when things go wrong. Sometimes things do go wrong.

The cost of the video DVD and pdf* book is $25. That includes shipping and handling.

I think you will love it and find the information useful and the video entertaining. If for what ever reason you are dissatisfied, return it for a full refund less shipping and handling.
