Bike Rentals

Toronto now uses the BIXI bike rental system. It is a municipally sponsored bike rental system with standardized bikes and 90 locations in Toronto. Once registered, the bikes are free for the first half hour. After that time you must pay a surcharge for each half hour of use.

Tourcycle.ca starts tours close to BIXI locations. The fastest cheapest and most convenient way of obtaining a bike is to bring your own.  If that is not convenient, tourcycle.ca has several rental bikes available for Toronto day tours. We charge $20 per person for the duration of the tour. The price includes a helmet where available. A bike with a child carrier is extra.

ROCKY

Easy to ride, Rocky has front suspension and an easy going appeal. He is suitable for people 5 to 6 feet. It has 21 gears and can be equipped with a child carrier.

IPANEMA

This beach cruiser isn't all that fast, but when your on the beach, what's the hurry? Lots of chrome and whitewalls, she really turns heads

VENTICINQUE

This is our tandem bike. It is long, silver and very elegant. It is rather like a limousine, soft ride and not all that fast. 21 gears and bullet-proof balloon tires. A great way to arrive just about anywhere. The captain will be 6 feet or just under and the stoker in the back can be less than 5 feet.

This bike ideal for a Captain who is a confident rider and a stoker who is not.  This bike may also be used for accessible tours

SUZANNE

This comfortable multi-speed bike has a low step over and is very comfy with a bike soft saddle. Suzanne can be fitted with a child carrier

RENT FROM US

Please be aware that these bikes are recycled rental bikes and as such may not be like riding your own bike. We can adjust the seat height for you and often the handlebars. Rental bikes have a rough life and often show a few scars, but everything works well on them, especially the brakes!
