Toronto Islands is a car-free paradise where cyclist rule and only emergency and delivery vehicles are allowed. There are miles of paths to explore along the 8 kilometre long chain of islands. Sole access is by ferry boat (fare extra). We start at Hanlan’s Point and bike along quiet paths to Centre Island with a long pier and formal gardens and then to Ward’s and Algonquin Islands with the quaint houses that make up the island community
