OUR CITY OF HAMILTON BICYCLE TOUR
For too long the City of Hamilton has been eclipsed by its neighbour and competitor, Toronto. This city of 500,000 on the western part of Lake Ontario has much of interest to the cycling tourist.
The downtown of Hamilton is very bike friendly with bike lanes, and bike routes through attractive well treed downtown neighbourhoods. We'll bike along mostly quiet streets on bike lanes and bike paths through Hamilton’s downtown neighbourhoods. Depending on the weather and speed of the participants we could include the following locations in the trip:
HMCS Haida, Bayfront Park, Coote’s Paradise, Old Hamilton train stations, The Mohawk Trail, Scottish Rights Masonic Temple, Farmer’s Market,
